YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

email Yoga 101 for an application form

It begins here..

Level One Yoga Teacher Training Course - 350hr RYTT

Yoga 101 is grounded in the principles of the yogic tradition and Patanjali’s philosophy, incorporating the eightfold path through the practice and teaching of classical hatha yoga.
Our curriculum moves far beyond physical exercise, it bridges the gap between gross physical anatomy and the subtle energetic body, teaching you to look at each yoga pose, understand its nuance and unlock its true therapeutic potential.
Our Level One Yoga Teacher Training invites you to deepen your understanding of yoga history, philosophy and asana development while nurturing your personal practice and supporting your growth as a teacher.
You will learn to thoughtfully design and confidently guide engaging yoga classes as you discover and refine your own authentic teaching voice. With this foundation, you will be empowered to inspire your students and make a meaningful, positive contribution to individuals and the wider community.

The course is delivered part-time over eleven months from February to December, 2027.

Our Vision

Established in 2010, Yoga 101 offers an 11-month, part-time teacher training program led by highly trained senior yoga teachers, with both face-to-face and online learning.
Throughout the course, you will stay connected through accessible mentors, experienced teachers and online communities of like-minded yogis.
Graduates have described the experience as empowering and transformative.
The vision of the Yoga 101 Teacher Training Course is to deepen practitioners’ knowledge and experience within a supportive environment of self-discovery and growth.
The course equips practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to share yoga with others and make a meaningful contribution through teaching in their communities.
Yoga 101 was founded to provide the Sunbury community and surrounding areas with access to a welcoming local yoga studio.
