YOGA
Yoga – A class that incorporates classic yoga postures to enhance strength of the body, relaxation of the mind and connection to the soul. Recommended for beginner-intermediate.
Kundalini Yoga - A practice using many yogic tools at once to quickly make you feel more alive, awake and aware. We use repetitive movements of the body, together with powerful breath techniques, the use of mantra and focus transforming energy fast. The practice works on the nervous and glandular system, clearing and balancing the energy centers, changing how you think and feel. It relieves stress, detoxes the body, calms and clears a busy mind. A class for absolute beginners
Beginner Yoga - A great introduction to all the classic hatha yoga postures in a supported environment. Recommended for beginner.
Gentle Yoga - A quiet practice integrating joint mobility and gentle yoga postures to better health, relaxation, and body movement. Recommended for absolute beginner.
Yin Yoga - Long-held yin postures to create flexibility, mobility and increase prana (chi) flow for optimal health. Recommended for any age, any ability.
Stretch Yoga - Beginner Yoga to improve flexibility. Ideal for anyone who can’t touch their toes!
Yoga Flow - An intermediate to advanced class that moves through postures, vinyasa style, to progress the yoga practitioner to higher levels of asana and meditation.
Restorative Yoga - Learn to deeply rest in this therapeutic restorative class. Using props supplied at the studio so that you are completely supported, Leesa guides you through a divine, blissful hour session to calm the mind, rest the body and nourish the soul.
Sound Bowl Healing Meditation - using Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, along with mantra and soft chimes, your mind can transcend into blissful rest while the body is attuned into harmonious balance.
A meditation class, that will assist to calm the nervous system and in doing so will induce physical and mental relaxation.
Kids Yoga - A fun yoga class for kids that runs during school terms. Teaching yoga postures, concentration, and relaxation techniques.
This class also includes nervous system regulation through various yoga breathing practicing and the use of voice and creativity. A wonderful way for kids to learn tools for stress or anxiety
PILATES
Beginner Pilates - A great introduction to Pilates, learning breathing techniques, body awareness, core control, strength, and stability.
Mat Pilates with small props -
Our Mat Pilates classes include;
- Joint mobilization
- Myofascial release
- Strengthening and re-connection of neural pathways for correct movement
patterns using Pilates exercise methods - Includes core strengthening and improvement of posture
- Stretching and increasing flexibility
This class is a wonderful beginner Pilates mat class for every body!
Reformer Pilates - Pilates training on the reformer with our qualified and highly sort after instructors. These classes are a fun and effective way to develop improved core strength and control, tone the body, strengthen, and improve flexibility using our high quality Pilates reformers. (Only 4 participants per class.)
