Not only through my extensive training in yoga and Pilates, but also through my personal experience of healing myself naturally from a back injury, I am offering a guide to back health through yoga, Pilates, and guidance to support your healing.

Back pain can be so debilitating, and everyone experiences back pain differently.

  • Thinking of the easiest way to move or the least painful way to do the simplest tasks, like standing up from sitting on a chair, is mentally exhausting.
  • You realise you hold your breath and have not taken a deep breath in for some time.
  • You try to hold back sneezing/coughing for fear of the pain.
    Not finding a single position that is comfortable to sleep in, and have not had a good nights’ sleep for weeks
  • How it affects your emotions and gets you down.

If you have felt any or all these symptoms, I am offering you some supportive suggestions and easy to follow information to give yourself a bit of space to feel free and breathe with ease again.

I have included PDF’s with pictures of all the movements, so if you are unsure if they are right for you, feel free to show them to your physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor and get their approval first. As I have said, everybody’s body is different, and your back might need to omit some movements from this program. This program is designed for people with general back pain and not skeletal and disc injuries, please practice with caution and with your own body intelligence.
